Petar Jovancic

PhD, has conducted research wark as a full professor at Textile Engineering Department of University of Belgrade, Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy (UB-TMF) until 2019, working in the field of sustainable textile finishing and dyeing. Since late 2016, he is working at Technology Centre of Catalonia (EURECAT) as a leader of Advanced Material Research and R&D&I Coordinator at Department of Functional Textiles. In Herewear, he is leading the activities in WP4- biobased finishing and printing and also production of textile fabrics using alternatives to cotton and PEt conventional materials. Together with co-authors he published over 260 publications including 80 peer-reviewed papers resulting in 2513 citations (excluding self-citations) and h-index of 24 according to SCOPUS (accessed 05/11/2021).
